This policy explains how Bitwell handles information for Auto Tab Cleaner when you use our website and browser extension.

Information processed locally

Auto Tab Cleaner is designed so that tab URLs, tab titles, browsing activity, parked tabs, workspaces, cleanup history and extension preferences can be processed and stored locally in your browser or Chrome's extension storage. We do not intend to transmit this browsing data to our subscription backend for advertising or profiling.

Account and subscription information

If you choose to purchase Pro, we may process a stable account identifier and, where needed, your email address to identify your account and restore your entitlement. Our backend may store identifiers supplied by our payment provider, subscription status, renewal/cancellation state and related timestamps.

Payments

Payment card details will be handled by our payment provider rather than stored by Auto Tab Cleaner. The payment provider's own privacy terms apply to information you submit through its checkout and account-management services.

Infrastructure

We use third-party infrastructure providers to operate the service. Technical request data such as IP addresses may be processed by those providers for security, routing, abuse prevention and service operation.

Retention

We aim to retain account and billing records only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Local extension data remains under the controls provided by your browser and the extension.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to personal information we hold about you, including access, correction or deletion. Contact us using the details on the Support page.

Children

Auto Tab Cleaner is not intentionally directed at children and is intended for users who can lawfully enter into the relevant agreement in their jurisdiction.

We may update this policy as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
